guppy fry care, in a breeder tank?

my guppy had 9 babies, 1 dead, and 1 is bloated and hardly moving, the other 7 are great, i feed them 4 times daily and siphon the debris daily, they are in a breeder trap inside a heavily planted guppy/gourami tank, heavily filtered ( they are not effected ) and 79F.

i feed them sera tropical flakes and siphon the water with a airline tube ( 3.5 feet ), they are not bothered by the adult guppies or gourami because they are safely contained in a breeder trap, should i add a fake plant or a decoration? i8 would rather not.

Thanks!!

Well, It is not recommended too have them in that breeder trap, those are very bad for the fry. You need to get together a breeder tank. If your tank is heavily planted, then you could release them into your tank, and they will seek refuge, but then they are harder to feed. Also, what you feed them now is going to effect how they look in the future. I Absolutely hate Liquid fry food they sell at some pet stores, and feeding them crushed flakes only. The Fry's instinct is to, see something small, and moving eat it. The flakes nor the liquid food move, so most of it ins up polluting your tank. The best food for fry if you set up a breeder tank is....Infusiea, Baby brine shrimp*, Micro-worms, crushed flakes (maybe once a day, instead of 4-5 times), Daphna, and crushed blood worms. When feeding a variety in your diet, you get beautiful, quality guppies. Feeding them only that stuff, will make them just plain guppies.
